Goose-goose

Here at the Facilities Maintenance Office, we have Goose-goose.  She is a Canadian goose who has a permanently wounded wing and cannot fly.  She has been here over a year and waddles around, honks occasionally and enjoys swimming in our "farm pond".  Elder Poulson and another fellow feed her corn, but she stays a safe distance.  The other day Elder Poulson tried to get her to come into our big pole barn by sprinkling corn along a path that led into the barn.  She came just so far and then stopped looking longingly at the corn inside the barn door.  After a time, I began to pick up the corn to throw it out to her.  She began honking madly at me...like I was stealing her corn.  I threw it closer to her and she gobbled it up....silly goose.
